Task: Create a campaign to boost brand awareness and destigmatize ear protection for Loop Earplugs.

What I Learned

First off, I want to clarify that this was a group project, shout out to Ian, Guillermo, and Ethan, and the slides linked above were my contribution. (I couldn’t find the full deck. 😢)

To tackle the task at hand, my group and I came up with the idea of creating immersive experiences on college campuses to educate students about ear protection, while also giving them the chance to try the product firsthand. Our thought process was that college students love engaging experiences, and this would be a natural way to capture their attention and learn more about the importance of protecting your ears.

While college students were a great audience to engage, looking back, I think the campaign could have been stronger by expanding beyond campus experiences to include content from different age groups on social media and irl, as well as immersive opportunities for other demographics to see the product in action. This broader approach would have helped educate different market segments and increase brand awareness beyond just college students.
